Selcuk Sever has been working at Australian Disability Services as a Case Manager and Therapy Assistant for 2 years. He is bilingual and speaks Turkish and English fluently. His hobbies include road trips, fishing, motorbike sports, and woodwork.
Education
Selcuk has a Bachelor of Psychology, graduating from Eastern Mediterranean University, he also has a certificate in Gambling Counselling, and is currently completing an Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management. In the future, he will be looking forward to studying Masters of Neuropsychology.
Career
His role within Australian Disability Services includes, but is not limited to, developing case plans and programs unique to his clients’ needs and preferences. Selcuk also connects his clients to necessary services and supports by making the appropriate referrals. Further, while working as a Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of the Clinical Services Manager, he develops intervention plans that are specialised for the client’s requirements. Selcuk takes a client-centred approach and aims to empower his clients with a focus on developing and building their independence to make informed decisions and develop healthy lifestyle decisions.
