Rasiha Ozdemir

Rasiha has been working in the area of Child and Adolescent Psychology providing psychological intervention for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Rasiha graduated from University of Western Sydney in 2011. She has been practicing psychology since 2013 at Auburn Psychological and Consultancy Service. She is a bilingual psychologist and speaks Turkish fluently.

Rasiha has been working in the area of Child and Adolescent Psychology providing psychological intervention for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.  Rasiha is passionate about working with children and families with developmental disabilities, and has a specific interest in early intervention.

She has a background in implementing early intervention programs for children with developmental conditions such as Autism, Asperger’s and as well as conditions such as ADHD, ADD, PDD and ODD.   As a proud mum of two, Rasiha understands the demands of a modern family – her passion lies in collaborating with families to provide flexible and tailored programs for children.

Rasiha is very passionate about children who have special needs and has become an advocate for Autism where she wants to contribute to communities who comes from Culturally and Linguistically diverse backgrounds by raising awareness, providing parental education and working collaboratively with children and their primary caregivers to ensure every child is given a chance at exploring their strengths and abilities despite their disability.
